Dave Woods has worked in advertising for over 20 years. He began life as a writer and worked his way up to senior creative level at several large global agencies. Notably TBWA Claydon Heeley and most recently at J. Walter Thompson. Chris Inns a highly-skilled art director and illustrator has worked in children's publishing for over 20 years at Octopus Hamlyn Penguin and most recently at Pan Macmillan. Lifelong friends the two began creating their own children's book ideas when they both became fathers.

Pocket Heroes is their first joint work to be published. (And one of their children's favourites.)
