The Worst Day Ever!

James Bishop

A funny space adventure for fans of Charlie Changes into a Chicken and The Spy Who Loved School Dinners.
Meet Mylan - an ordinary blue alien. He's travelling the universe, looking for someone having a bad day, to help them.
Meet Chloe. She's just stubbed her toe. Now she's being followed by an alien. Her day can only get better, right? WRONG.

Every bad day begins with a stubbed toe. Mylan Bletzleburger's research proves this. But even he couldn't predict how Chloe's day would escalate from a sore foot to the entire Earth being swallowed up.

Can Mylan and Chloe save the planet? Will Mylan ever pilot a cool spaceship? And will Tanka Tanka Woo Woo, the Queen of the Universe, ever share her haircare secrets?

Funny and packed with action and quirky aliens, this intergalactic adventure is out of this world!

James Bishop

James Bishop (Author)
James is a children's author writer of the Iguana Boy series about a superhero who can talk to iguanas and The Worst Day Ever! an intergalactic adventure filled with aliens magical gloop and poop jokes. He pretends that he writes poop jokes because he's a children's author but the fact is even if he wasn't he would still be making them all the time (just ask his kids!).
Previous work includes writing credits on Diddy TV Justin's House and Gigglebiz as well as "successfully" convincing 90's pop act Hanson to play at his wedding. Well they didn't actually play but they sent him on a honeymoon to Jamaica which James thinks is even better.
James spends his spare time thinking of inventive ways to engineer more spare time for himself.
So far unsuccessfully.

Fay Austin (Illustrator)
Fay has worked as a creative practitioner in schools and theatrical settings for 14 years and is a self-taught illustrator. She has an MA from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and likes to belt out a Disney song. She lives in Surrey with her husband and son.
