One of DJ's books is about to be made into a film and while she is busy working on the screenplay Max decides to give writing his own play a go with DJ's help of course. But then Max's mum meets someone and suddenly Max is no longer the only man in her life. It seems like everyone is happy about it except for Max.>
Sally Grindley has been a full-time author since 1995 and has had over 100 books published. She won the Smarties Gold Award for her novel Spilled Water and the Smarties Prize for Can I Help Dad? She has been shortlisted for the Sheffield and Norfolk Libraries Book Award with picture books Little Elephant Underfoot and Polar Star respectively and most recently she's been shortlisted for the Rotherham Children's Book Award for Broken Glass.
Peter's first picture book The Witch's Hand was runner-up for the prestigious Mother Goose Award for illustration in 1990. Two of Peter's books are published in the Comix series: Henry's Magic Powers and The Goose Who Knew Too Much.
