Jaydip Ray

Professor Jaydip Ray PhD MS FRCS is Clinical Director and an ENT Consultant at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Professor of Otology/Neurotology at the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University. He completed his specialist training in Birmingham and undertook fellowships in Cambridge Australia and the USA.
He is the communications lead for the ENT Clinical Research Network of the National Institute for Health Research. His main research interests include the management of balance disorders complex hearing loss and implantable hearing solutions. He has been the chief investigator on several multicentre research projects.
Jaydip also plays an active role in teaching and training and lectures widely at several national and international conferences. He is the Training Programme Director for ENT in Yorkshire and Humber Deanery and is the academic representative for the Specialist Advisory Committee for ENT.
Jaydip is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family plus reading travelling and badminton.
