Existential Ants: A Comic Book on Navigating Existentialism, One Species at a Time

Siddharth Nair

Artist Siddharth Nair aka ‘asiddababa’ Turns His Simmering Disillusionment into This Darkly Funny, Biting Visual Satire!

A beautifully illustrated comic book for anyone who has ever found meaning overrated – but thinks it’s worth looking for anyway. !

WILD ANIMALS. CIVILIZED PROBLEMS.

Gorgeous sumi-e ink washes bleed into stark white space in Existential Ants, a comic book where animals grapple with what makes us human. Beneath delicate brushstrokes and biting wit runs a current of existential unease – ants obsess over purpose, cats interrogate destiny with skepticism, penguins barter intimacy against the void and crows dismantle common romanticism with inconvenient, razor-sharp truths.

Marrying breathtaking artwork with humour and honesty, this book offers the companionship of creatures who suspect that meaning is fragile and elusive, but perhaps still worth the trouble of finding.

The perfect gift for the overthinker, the art lover and everyone who laughs to keep the void at bay. Ideal for friends and foes alike!
