Neil Flory

Neil Flory became a children's writer when his son asked him for a bedtime story. His first picture book The Short Giraffe was nominated for Book of the Year at the Children's Book Council of Australia Awards. He has published two picture books with Hachette India – Cactus Wants a Hug (illustrated by Simon Yeo) and Marvellously Mixed Up (illustrated by Maitri Bimbrahw-Marks).

He now lives in Goa, where he divides his time between writing kids' stories, adult novels, comics and screenplays; and making music, art and pottery. By buying his books, you are supporting him greatly in his fight against those who wish he'd get a real job.

Simon Yeo

is a painter who always experiments with colours, textures and typography. He is a fan of pop cultures from around the world, but his art reflects the richness of his Asian heritage. He now lives in Melbourne, Australia, with his family, and divides his time being a parent, an artist, a street photographer and, sometimes, a landscape wanderer.
