Decoding Symbols and Symbolism: A journey spanning history, mythology, and geography

Shweta Ganesh Kumar

Why do certain symbols mean certain things to us? And why do the same symbols mean different things to people from different geographical and cultural backgrounds?

Human life is a journey in the pursuit of meaning and purpose. And symbols are an essential aspect of the universal human experience. An image becomes a symbol when you follow the invitation to look beyond the mere visual and comprehend the meaning it stands for. Yet they don't presume to tell you what they mean but ask you instead to interpret what they stand for.

The book is divided into three sections: Animal Kingdom, Symbols from Nature, and Abstract Symbols. Each section will delve into the interpretations of the universal symbols that have become popular around the world, trace their historical origins, and examine their associated myths.
