Suhani is a second-generation, Indian-American mom, author and publisher based in Upstate New York. Her experience growing up with alopecia areata led her to write her debut book Shreya's Very Own Style and launch Modern Marigold Books in 2019 (now an imprint of Sambasivan & Parikh) to publish stories that centre social and emotional growth rooted in identity.
